Accessories for the EK Vario Plotter VP 600 full size (A3) at a glance
We offer two basic plotter pens for a clear and easy to read labeling with our plotter systems. Depending on your application need, you can choose between a Refillable pen and a disposable pen. All of our pens run with the permanent ink, most suitable for writing on various plastic surfaces. The disposable pen cannot be used again after emptying the ink. With the exchange of the ink cartridge, the Refillable pens continue to work. In addition a cleaning set for the Refillable pens to provide a clean and easy cleaning process is available.
If there are last minute changes or additional labeling to be done on site and there is no labeling system available, our hand pen with the same ink can be used. More plotter pens and accessories are available.
Disposable pen
EK Plotter Pen-D P 2.0
The disposable pens are available in six tip widths (.18 mm; .25 mm; .35 mm; .50 mm; .70 mm; 1.00 mm) and most suitable for users not working on a daily basis with a high no. of tags to be plotted. Depending on the material and tip width, the disposable pen is good for 220,000 characters plotted at the size of approximately 2 mm. The disposable pens are filled with the permanent ink P 2.0, most suitable for marking, identifying and labeling most common various plastic surfaces. The ink is fast drying, within seconds smudge-proof, light-fast, and resistant to spirits and petrol when used on suitable plastic materials.
A high service life will be achieved when the pen will be immediately re-capped after use and stored with the attached pen holder at a dry cool place.
Disposable pen

The disposable pens are available in six tip widths (.18 mm; .25 mm; .35 mm; .50 mm; .70 mm; 1.00 mm) and 4 different colors (black, red, green, blue). They are most suitable for users not working on a daily basis with a high no. of tags to be plotted. With appropriate handling a high service life will be achieved, the pen almost never clogs.
Depending on the material and tip width, the disposable pen is good for 220,000 characters plotted at the size of approximately 2 mm. The disposable pens are filled with the permanent ink ED, most suitable for marking, identifying and labeling most common various plastic surfaces. The ink is fast drying, within seconds smudge-proof, almost light-fast, and resistant to petrol when used on suitable plastic materials.
The ED ink should only be used on plastic elements not cleaned or touched with aggressive fluids. For applications outside of the control panel the ink P 2.0 is more suitable and durable.
Refillable pen

The Refillable pens are available in six tip widths (.18 mm; .25 mm; .35 mm; .50 mm; .70 mm; 1.00 mm) and can be connected to the ink cartridge. As standard delivery the pen holds a blank cartridge, able to be filled with other inks. With the latest generation of pens a new cap for closing the pen was designed to achieve a higher service life.
Ink cartridges

The ink cartridges are filled with the permanent ink P 2.0 suitable for marking, identifying and labeling various plastics. The ink is fast-drying, within seconds smudge-proof, light-fast, and resistant to spirits and petrol when used on suitable plastic materials. Depending on the material and tip width, the ink cartridge is good for 220,000 character plotted at the size of approximately 2 mm.
A high service life will be achieved when the pen will be re-capped after use and stored with the attached pen holder at a dry cool place. The drying out process will be diminished.
Cleaning set

The special developed cleaning set provides a comfortable cleaning cycle for the Refillable pens. The set consists of the cleaning unit and the pen cleaner, allowing two pens to be cleaned. For additional cleaning cycles the pen cleaner needs to be re-ordered only.

In case a mess of ink needs to be cleaned, imprints erased or priming plates to be cleaned our special cleaning fluid is very helpful.
Helping to activate the plotter pens
EK Suction ball
If the plotter pen has some difficulties getting started after some time you can prime the pen with the help of the suction ball. Squeeze the ball and then connect the tip with the plotter pen tip, release the ball by holding in the hand, the vacuum cleans out the peak of the pen.
