Our company history
The EK-TEAM company was established in 1996 as a management buy-out of the rotring group. Even at that time, our 9-strong team had proven expertise in the area of electronic labeling.
In 2003, we took over the injection molding division of the rotring group, with over 30 machines, and since then we have been manufacturing watercolor pens for the rotring brand, components for the field of medical technology, as well as some in-house parts for our product range.
Since 2005 we have also been involved in the field of medical technology. For this sector, we develop and produce practical laboratory devices which are used especially in the field of in vitro diagnostics.
Our company now employs more than 35 staff, and has more than 18 years’ experience in developing and manufacturing labeling and engraving systems, particularly in the field of plant engineering and switching cabinet construction.
Our core skills include the development of electronics and software at board levels and on Windows platforms, as well as the development of mechanisms and drives with stepped motors. Beyond this, the spectrum is rounded off by the development of optical components, and much more.
